Our Weekend

Well, I haven't posted anything since the last time because we haven't really had anything to write about. This week we finally did something!

I started pre-school up again after a 6 week (wonderful!) break. It wasn't the easiest week. On Tuesday the baby slept until the last 30 minutes of school and then he sat in his swing for 40 minutes so it worked out PERFECT! I was so glad and thought that we could really make it work with him being home during school time...but it didn't work like that on Wednesday afternoon when half way through he started screaming and I had to call my grandma to hurry and come down and hold him. Then he was fine although he kept doing that sad little thing they do after they've really cried for awhile and then we did that all over again Thursday morning. It was not fun! He's going to start going over to one of my friends houses during school except for when my sister can come over and watch him. We did make some really cute little penguins our of paper bags in my 4/5 year old class. (Hopefully my pictures will download okay and I'll be able to put a picture up. My computer is telling my I'll low on disk space. Ugh! I HATE that!
This week was also mini cheerleading. We had originally planned to go to St. George Friday after Brecken got out of school and just go down and shop and kind of relax and just basically get out of town for my birthday, but that all changed when we found out about cheerleading. So Brecken danced/cheered Friday night at the South Sevier/San Juan game. If you notice in her picture, she lost her second tooth on the 23rd of January. (She lost the first one on the 23rd of December. Kind of ironic.)

We ended up going to St. George early Saturday morning. We did some shopping and had lunch and then we went to Kiddie Kandids to have the kids pictures taken. I like to have thier pictures done at the same ages (and same poses) so we did Bridger's 6 week pictures and Brigham's 3 year old pictures. I can't say it was real fun. My kids acted like they hadn't ever been out in public before. They're usually really good, but I think yesterday they were so anxious to go swimming it was about to kill them. Once they finally were able to swim (after we had dinner and went to Roberts Crafts. Which by the way, St. George has a new one and it is AWESOME! They had so much stuff and fun stuff!) By the time we finally went to bed last night I was very tired and my feet were killing!
We got up this morning and went to breakfast and went to Michaels (which I love too!) and to Target. We visited with some of Rickie's family down there and left later than we had planned. It was pouring rain almost the whole way home. When we got home my mom had made dinner for my birthday and we (I) had to eat fast cause I had camp meeting at 5:00. I ran home right before I was supposed to be at the church and, ya, I was locked out and we didn't have a key! Rickie got in somehow, but I was late for a meeting I'm in charge of. It's a good thing I have a wonderful assistant and cell phone I could call her on. She had things going when I got there. I think camp is going to be really fun. I'm sure all of you have wondered! :)

After that I went back to my mom's because that's where my family was. They were all playing with my new Cricut Expression I won in eBay. I got a great deal and I think I'm going to love it. I will probably use it mostly for pre-school stuff since I just don't feel like I can take time to scrapbook although I wish I could. Tonight we cut out some vinyl letters and a heart to put on our doors. (Me, my mom and sister. My grandma would like one too, but she wasn't so sure about having it say 'Be Mine'!) If anyone ever wants anything...let me know! I need to get my money's worth out of it.

Well, I didn't write for a long time but maybe I made up for it with this one.
