Ohhhhh...Boys

I'm not exaggerating one bit when I say I have two VERY busy and independant boys. Here are a couple of examples from the last couple days.

Brigham: An conversation Brig and I had Wednesday night.
Mom: "Brigham, you need to go get in bed or I won't sign you up for wrestling tomarrow."

Brig: "I'll sign myself up."

M:" You have $30."

B:" Yea, up there." (Pointing to the shelf......oh yea. Crap.)

M: "Are you going to walk yourself down to the High School?"

B: "Yea."

M: "You know how to write your name?"

B: "Yea" (very confident)

M: "You do?"

B: "Yea" (not as confident)

M: "Let me see." (Brecken comes running out of their room with a notebook and pen)

B: "B....R....What comes next?" (With an Oh Crap look on his face)

M: "I...G..."etc (Here's what it looked like)

M: "So you'll walk down and sign up then?"

B: "No, I'll just call the High School." (Like, I'm not that dumb.)

Okaaaay...whatever.

Bridger:

This boy has quite the personality. He's very easygoing and he goes with the flow most of the time but if he doesn't like something he will pull the ugliest little faces and make a horrible bawling sound. Sometimes he'll flop on the floor, or throw his head so it'll hit me (or who ever) and he is into EVERYTHING! I am going crazy. He just goes from thing to thing to thing. He also know how to turn the TV on and off (and thinks it hilarious) He can turn the stereo on (like he did just now) Can turn the microwave on and last night he climbed up and turned the computer screen on and was moving the mouse around. I can't keep up...

Last night we decided to go up to my mom and dads for a minute. When we were getting ready to go he was standing out in the preschool room. I was also out there but standing by the door. Rickie went to turn off the Living room light and accidentally turned it off out in the room where we were. We automatically hear this "Waaaaaaaaa." (It was ugly.) Rickie got the light back on before he was even done squealing, and Bridger turned and looked at me (real embarressed) and says: "Hi."

Oh, that boy.

(Jan...how did you raise 6 and not lose your mind?)

The story with brigham sounds like something Eli does. It must be the bradshaw in them.

Matae-Now you know why I am like I am!! You just give up and love every minute. What choice do you have? You can't win! Boys are just so much fun, but will try anything--so beware!!

Have fun:)
