We're still here...

Even though there hasn't been any proof of it!

I would like to say I've been crazy busy and that's why there haven't been any recent posts, but that wouldn't be completely true. I've mostly just been very non-motivated and lazy so far this summer. I didn't feel great for a long time, but the last week or so it has been better! One of the things that is making me feel a little better is my front flower bed that I finally got weeded and planted. I really wish I'd taken a "before" of the front of our house, but I didn't think about it until too late. This entire bed was FULL of grass, weeds, and two towering weeds that were at least 4 feet tall. It took a few days to get it all out. Friday, I had an urge to go the nursery and the owner helped me plan and decide what to get. Rickie and I went to the Annabella gravel pit and got the rocks. I'd liked a little bigger ones, but this was about all we (Rickie) could handle without machinery! (It all is much prettier and more lively in real life)

This is just my little welcome pot on the front porch. It's really grown the last couple of days. I guess all it needed was a little warm air.
