Not Kiddie Kandids
The night I heard Kiddie Kandids was closed, I thought I was going to be sick. I have always had my kids pictures taken at the same ages, with the same poses and props, so I have matching pictures of all of them and I can easily compare how each of them looked at the same age. (Blessing clothes on a red chair or bench, printed in sepia for 11x 14, etc.) I was planning Britain's trip to KK for the weekend after they closed. I stressed for several days and then a friend said that fotogenix was honoring all of KK coupons (which I had.) I called them and told them what I was looking for and if they had similar things to what I wanted. They did, or they could make it work, so I made an appointment! We were sooo impressed! The photographer was awesome, the setting was so much more relaxing and had more room. We had our own time so we weren't trying to really hurry or waiting forever. We got one hour and tons of pictures (not just 6.) We went back later and looked at the pictures and picked the ones we wanted (which was REALLY hard) without people waiting and looking over your shoulder. They only bad part was that I had so many more pictures to pick from, I ended up spending way more money than I would've at Kiddie Kandids. BUT...it was totally worth it! I LOVE the pictures, and the quality is a lot better.

Wow those are beautiful pictures!! I am excited to see her! I have cancelled Amanda's pictures twice now because of illness!!! I hope this next appointment we will actually get to keep!
Beautiful pictures! We gave up on KK years ago because we never ended up with anything we were thrilled with and spent way too much. I'm going to look up this other place you tried and see if they have anything up here...
I'm glad you posted this! We've always gone to KK too. Is this place in the mall? The pictures are darling.

Glad you posted that, I have been stressing since christmas what to do. I always get my kids done there too, and I went up the morning they had shut their doors down, and I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get them to answer the phone to make an appointment. I will have to see if I can get them done.. I have two birthdays coming up!
