Two Months Old!

I can't believe my baby is already two months! Where does the time go? We went to the Dr. today for his check-up (we went Friday too, but that's a whole other story) anyway, he weighed 14.10 lbs and is 24 inches long. He had ear infections in both ears...AGAIN but this time we can give him an oral antibiotic instead of getting shots everyday. Brecken went with because she hasn't been feeling well. She had ear infection also and...sinus infection and I was also checked because I haven't felt good either for about a week. (I actually didn't hardly even get up on Saturday, I pretty much slept all day while Rickie and the older kids were at the farm.) I have a sinus infection too although the doctor thought at first I had ear infection too because my ear was soooo red. And let me tell you ...it hurts. I still taught school today though. I had a dental hygentist come and she did this cute little demonstration that the kids loved! I love it when other people can help me.
Tonight (even though I'm dead tired) my friend and I went to the city council meeting and asked if we could use the community center to exercise and invite anyone in the community to come and they pretty much asked us to start an organization and head that up, but also maybe have some programs to go along with it and they want us to write an article to go in the town newsletter, but even better...The Richfield Reaper lady was there and she wants us to do one too and ...she wants to take pictures of us exercising to put in the paper! We told her NO WAY! But she was serious. I REALLY don't want a picture of my exercising in the county's newspaper! That would be totally humilating! But I do think it will be fun at try and promote exercise and stuff in the community.
Totally different subject, but I actually did some scrapbook pages this weekend. We started a scrapbook club and we meet once a month and visit and stuff. It was at my house this weekend and it was pretty fun I thought and I got almost all of my Christmas stuff done. (Keep in mind, I'm about 3 years behind!) But I am going to catch up this year!!!!
Oh, here's something kind of interesting-my parents (up the street and around the corner) have had a cougar in their yard the last couple of days. Isn't that nice? I'm petrified of them. I guess there was one shot last week just on the other side of the middle school that was staying under someone's deck. I'm paranoid now. My mom called tonight and said that she thought she could hear our dog yelping (She's up there as much as she's at our house) so Rickie went up to get her and then my mom called and said that Lucy (our dog) ran up on their deck when they called up but she was really scared and she's never been like that. I don't want anything to happen to her! We just paid the vet off in November for our accident last summer (when I accidentally ran her over. That was horrible!)
Well, I'm going to head to bed. I took pictures of the baby today with his bear so we can see how big he's getting. When I have more energy, I'll post them.
