Busy, Busy, Busy....

(if you put the arrow on the pictures in the slide show, it says what and who it is!)

We have had so much going on the last few weeks. I thought I'd come right home from camp and post but I came home with some bitter feelings and it's been really hard to think or talk about, so needless to say, I didn't feel like writing about it either. It will also be my last year as Stake Camp director, by my decision. It was too hard on my kids this year and too emotionally hard on me. This are two of the props we used during the game of Life, we had 4 different stops for pictures.

I came right home and tried to get busy with the preparations for the 24th of July. My mom and I are on the committee for our town and this year we were in charge of the parade. It really wasn't too stressful until about the day before or so when we were trying to get it organized and people kept calling and then wanting to be in the front. If you ever want to be in a parade and don't get your form in on time, don't call the person in charge and ask to be in charge or for a specific number in the parade. Thanks for the laughs though Cherish and Shelby...you guys are pretty funny... :/ We somehow got though all the craziness and the parade turned out well and it was a fun couple of days. On Wednesday night there was the childrens parade and the town BBQ. My kids love the children's parade and were so excited to decorate their bikes. I didn't hardly even see them though because they rode down the opposite side of the road than I was on. Dinner was great as usual and it was enjoyable to visit with friends during 3 on 3 b-ball. My kids participated in the parade on the 24th (Brecken in mini drill team and Brigham on the tractor) raced, had all kinds of treats, got to spend the whole day with their second cousins, Jalee and Ali, playing at the park and swimming in our pool. It was so hot that I actually got in to and it was GREAT! My mom and I sold raffle tickets at the football field before the fireworks and then we all watched them on my mom's front lawn. They've been better.
Today was my 10 year reunion and it was great to see the 13 people who came! Most of them I usually see about once a week anyway, but our kids had fun playing together on the giant slide and in the bounce house.

Bridger also turned 7 months old, he's almost 8 now. He is one busy kid and can get where ever he wants to go and is very interested in everything around him. He can pull himself up to the couch and all kinds of other things and we dread the day he starts walking!

How funny that only 13 came. To bad, because it was probably people that were in charge. Hope you had a good time anyways. Sorry to hear about girls camp. NO fun. Your kids are to cute!
