Roller Derby Hopefuls

Last night as my little family and my parents sat and watched my little sister paint a desk she found, I noticed my old roller skates hanging on the garage wall. We got them down and looked at them (they were the really cool ones that were white with hot pink wheels and laces, I had them like in middle school) my dad bet me that I couldn't get them on. Well...I did. Dad, you still owe me $10. I could still even skate a little. My kids had to try them out, and of course McKade and Miranda did too. It was soo funny watching them I couldn't stop laughing. It was the first time for either of them! Here's McKade!

Here's Miranda, after she had fallen into the trees and the ground cover. She made it out onto the road and then fell into the splits, as she was trying to get up from that she fell again, that's the second picture. We were laughing but were also worrying that she'd break her back again.
