Nothing New
Well, we haven't had too much...well, anything going on. It's been very nice. We haven't hardly gone to town or anything. Last week the kids went swimming and played with friends about everyday, which they loved. We've never done that before!
We're all looking forward to Monday and Tuesday when we get to go school shopping! We haven't been anywhere for so long that we can't wait. I've been saving my WW checks for several months so I can just pay cash for everything, I hope I'll have enough! Rickie is going to come up Monday night with a load of my sister, Miranda's, stuff and then on Tuesday we're going to brave Seven Peaks...I haven't been for 8 years! Our kids are so excited.
Brecken entered her scrapbook and a stitchery she did in the fair yesterday. They both are really good and we took the stitchery yesterday and had it framed. It turned out so cute. I wanted to take pictures, but she wanted to wait until she got her ribbons. I hope they do well. I'm afraid if she get third place it will discourage her and she won't want to ever do anything like that again. Her division is ages up to 18, so I'm a little nervous. I'll post pictures of it later. Yesterday as we were leaving to go to town, my "lovely" little neighbor boy was lighting firecrackers (like 9 or 10 at a time) and throwing them at people. I am soooooo sick of him I could strangle him. Luckily, a sheriff drove down Main Street at the same time I was turning and I followed him to the post office and told him. My neighbor is well know with the sheriffs dept. already so Golden (the officer I talk to) understood and headed to the neighbors and told me to call dispatch the second he did it again. I was laying in bed thinking about the little idiot last night and got madder and madder. I got thinking about the dry, weedy empty lot right where he was throwing the firecrackers and thought if he happen to catch it on fire, 9 houses would've been right there to go up in flames too and it would've taken about 1 minute for it to happen. Anyway...I am way sick of the crap across the street, unfortunately, firecrackers aren't the worst thing going on over there. I do feel bad for the Grandma that lives there and is dying of cancer. She's a nice lady, but her son and grandson are something else. Sorry about the vent...
