What a Weekend!
This has been such a nice weekend! We did a lot, but enjoyed all of it.
Thursday we went to Beaver to have dinner with Rickie's family. Everyone was there and dinner was great. I gave all the nieces and nephews the pillows I had done and I gave my sister-in-laws and Rickie's mom and grandma the plates. The kids had a great time trying to have a big pillow fight. That night we went to my parents and watched Christmas with the Kranks together.

Friday didn't bring early morning sales like I had planned. It was too nice sleeping in. We went to town at about 10:45 and I went into Christensen's and found nothing while Rick and the kids were in line to see Santa. We saw Santa, ran a couple of errands and then headed up Clear Creek to hunt for trees. We found some really pretty ones but they took quite alot of work (like jumping the creek, climbing a barbed wire fence and hiking straight up hill) Good thing the men did most of that! We had Miranda's birthday dinner a little while after we got home and warmed up...(the water was very cold and just my luck the bottom half of my leg got soaked while trying to help kids back across.) After dinner our little family and McKade met Rickie's brother and his family in town to go watch Bolt. It was really cute, I highly recommend it!

Confusion at first site?!
The Great Hunt!
Can you see the mighty hunter? He's there!

Saturday didn't bring much. More sleeping in, a birthday party Brecken attended, a run to Wal-Mart and gingerbread house decorating. That was the first time we had done that and it was pretty fun. Brecken did the majority of ours and she's pretty proud of it! Last night we watched a little movie called Emmett the Otter. It's a Jim Hensen muppet Christmas movie. It was...alright.

Just a little taste! :)

Tonight we got the tree in and got the house pretty well decorated. Our tree isn't as big as usual but I actually like that it doesn't stick out into the room so far.
Bridger wasn't quite sure what I think and the kids did a great job decorating. I don't know what was in front of the lense...Argh.

Looks like a BUSY weekend! That's the same place that we go for tree's when we do a live one. We've done artificial for the past few years.
I love your advent calendar.
And, the little table with the decorations looks perfect. You did a really great job!
