September Update

With preschool well under way and Super Saturday quickly approaching I haven't felt like I've had a single second to sit down to post. September went by sooo quickly that I can hardly believe it and I think October may do the same thing. Here are a few things that happened in September after Brecken's birthday and baptism:
Preschool started. I have 29 kids between my two classes and for the most part they are a really, really good little group. It's been interesting seeing the differences in them than in the classes I've had the last 3 years. I've had several firsts, like 1 trying to run away. That was interesting and one shoving a little piece of wood up her nose. That too was interesting. There have been a couple of days (mostly yesterday and today) I've wondered why I ever got myself into teaching preschool! Next week will be better!

Mini Drill team. Brecken participated in mini drill team for the I don't know how manyth time. She loves it and we will probably keep letting her do it, but every time I think it's a waste of money. She loves being able to dance at the games.

(the famous South Sevier ram, I can't remember it's name right now though. He has been the main topic of many of our conversations this month)

Homecoming. It was homecoming at South Sevier. Not really a big deal to us, but we enjoy going to the parade and to the football game. This year half time was neat because the cheerleaders and the drill team danced together and did A REALLY GOOD JOB! It was fun to watch. And of course we always love to see the SS on the mountain lit up in red.

Our undefeated football team!!!

(Brigham didn't even make it down the hall and into bed he was so tired after the game, and the paint didn't get washed off first either)

(Bridger was raring to go after the game and had his ...Brecken's....pom-poms out!)

Monrovian. We went up the canyon a little earlier than usual this year. We kept hearing about the big storm that was coming and would blow all the leaves off, so we went up and had our traditional potato salad and chicken. We took some pictures of the kids, but they definitely weren't dressed for anything formal!

Pregnancy. Everything is always right on track and okay at all my appointments. Towards the end of the month, after I cleaned the garage one day, I had a lot of contractions and was hurting. I took it easy for a few days and it all was okay. Things are hurting in a fairly normal way I suppose. It seems worse than with the other kids. I can't do a whole lot without and extreme back ache and I don't think having zero muscle tone in my stomach area helps when you have extra stuff hanging out. I can say I am starting to get a little anxious to have things over with and I can't wait to wear normal clothes again (oh and definitely being able to clean my house without everything hurting and aching. My house has never been so messy.)
