Going Private...?
I've been thinking of going private just because I don't know who's looking. I saw a link about privacy on my friend, Liz's blog, this is what her sister had to say about it and I totally agree (thanks, Emily)
"So, that being said, I will tell you this story....Liz and I are frequent blog surfers when we have a few extra minutes. We love to click on links to see who we can find that we know. I don't think we are the only ones who do this, however. Liz found a blog of one of her friends and found that they are going private because someone from the prison was looking at their blog for 4 hours at a time. I personally think that prisoners should not have access to computers, but that is another subject entirelly. I totally don't mind people looking at my blog. I love gettting comments and keeping in touch with people, but am also a mother with the safety of my children as first priority. So, I want to know who is out there reading my blog. If you are, please leave me a comment. I don't care if I know you well, briefly met you once, or have never met you (we may become friends). If I don't know you, let me know how you found me. I have a way to track who is logging on, so I will know if you are looking and not commenting. If I see that people are looking and not commenting and I can't figure out who is looking, I may resort to going private. It really isn't hard to comment, and I allow anonymous comments so you don't even have to have a blog of your own to comment."
So...if you look please comment!

Matea-
I think it is a really good idea to go private- that way you can control who is looking at your blog for the most part. Most of the time you probably only get your friends and family looking at it but what if there is someone looking at it that you wouldn't want to- it is your kids pictures and such that strangers are looking at and who knows what they could be doing with photoshop.. Just my two cents! That is why ours is private- I feel that way we are a little more protected. If someone really wanted to see the blog they could hack in to it but most people don't know how to do that.
Not such a bad idea, eh? ;)
Let me know if you are going private, I wanna keep looking:)
