Quilting and Canning

We haven't posted anything for awhile. We haven't done a whole lot. Last weekend I finally got 2 rows of my Christmas row quilt done (other people in the class are pretty much finished) but I WILL get mine totally done before Christmas!! Last week and yesterday we spent learning how to can. Rickie and I (with the help of my mom) did 14 bottles of peaches (and will do more when the peaches on our tree are ripe) and we did 12 bottles of salsa and 7 bottles of tomatoes yesterday. It a lot of work, but very rewarding. I feel like I'm really becoming a homemaker :)
I wanted to post some pictures of them, but haven't taken any yet, but will.

Brecken had another foot dr. appointment on Thursday. It went well, it was just the trip up that wasn't the greatest. The blown tire by Mona and a $104 bill to fix it was not too fun, but at least we got it fixed and weren't too behind (only like 30 minutes.) The rest of the afternoon we ran fast trying to get things done. We didn't get to Tai Pan, but maybe next time. We did get to Hobby Lobby 30 minutes before they closed, so we can be thankful for that!

Well, tomarrow is mother help day again, so we better get to bed so we can get up again in a few hours!

Oooo, I hope to go to Tai Pan within the next couple of weeks. I was hoping to get there while all of the fall stuff was still out, but my mother in law went last weekend and said that they've put a lot of it away and are setting up Christmas stuff. That's ok to though!
You'll have to send me a picture of your Christmas quilt. I've been looking at a few different quilt patterns, but I don't know if I know what a "row quilt" is.

I have never canned or quilted. Mom is probably so happy that one of her kids takes after her. :)
