First Day of School
I have been dreading and looking forward to today. I hated to see it come because it means we're done with summer and now comes work and busy schedules and everything that comes with this time of year. I've been looking forward to it because I was (am) soooooo sick of the fighting, teasing, messes, etc. Brecken was very excited but a little nervous, it is her first day of ALL DAY school! She was way excited to wear her new clothes and shoes and to use her backpack!
I made chocolate chips cookies to welcome her home. It should be a surprise since I VERY rarely bake!

Cute pictures! I always forget to bring my camera on the first day of school. You are such a good mom to bake cookies for her.....I bought prepackaged after school snacks, does that count for anything?! :)

I can still remember the day I took you to the school bus on your first day. We lived at the University Village. I was so pleased you weren't one of the kids that cried and didn't want to go. Time flies!!!!!

Now that I have a little more time just thought I'd let you know I'm here. I read your "private" post awhile ago and just now have time to say HEY! She looks so stinkin' cute! Isn't it strange to think that you have a kid in "real" school now?
I hope she is still having fun in school. SHe is so cute with her backpack and all
