HSM3

Okay...let me just start by saying...I am totally disgusted! Brecken has been soooo excited to see this movie for so long and we have planned on going on opening day for months. So, tonight we went. It has the cheesiest beginning I have ever seen and then from there I thought it went to totally inappropriate, especially for little kids. Most of the girls clothes are very immodest (short, short skirts and dresses and pretty much all spaghetti straps, except for the prom and then there were no straps. Oh, and when the girls are dancing, it didn't really seem like they cared too much what might show.) The second major scene, had "Troy and Gabrielle" put in a treehouse singing some song and "Troy's" hands were in places that I couldn't believe. My brother-in-law Clint called right on it, but I won't repeat what he said! I think their real life relationship played in a bit much , again, especially for little kids. It was that way clear through the movie and you could definitely tell that there was a whole lot more money spent on #3 than on 1 or 2. I think it was better the first two times around. Oh, I almost forgot!..."Troy" sneaks into "Gabriella's" bedroom and they have chocolate covered strawberries. And it all looked okay... It makes me mad.

Okay, I'll admit there were 2 parts I liked. But overall...big downer. Why does everything have to be that way?

I have been hearing your same comments from a lot of moms. We will be seeing it Tuesday in St. George.

I haven't seen any of the High School Musicals, but I feel the same way about a lot of kids movies. We rented Speed Racer and it would have been a really cute kid movie, but they had to throw in swearing that was unnecessary.
